On his mother's deathbed, Kai learns how his father really died and why she and his twin brother had to flee the Philippines when they were children. To uncover the secret, Kai travels to the Philippines with his girlfriend Sarah. On a lonely island, a superstitious monastery has conspired to fight a “demon”. He suffers from hallucinations and delusions, begins to see his deceased twin in childhood. Everything seems to revolve around his childhood, which is catching up with him more and more. When he loses control, Sarah realizes that there could be something to the superstition.
