Hanna (58), owner of a Munich furniture store, surprisingly finds out that her daughter Elisabeth (27) has dropped out of medical school. Instead she offers spiritual seminars in the forest - and together with Vinzenz (58) her father, who has been along with all sorts of weird ideas since she was born had shone mainly through unreliability and absence.
Shaken awake by the insight that Elisabeth is no longer the top priority and with a potential breast cancer diagnosis in the neck, Hanna decides to go to her daughter's seminar in order to limit the damage caused by Vincent.
In the midst of a colorful seminar group, whose participants all revolve around their own problems, Hanna learns that the healing of her mother-daughter relationship is not about cutting a good figure, but rather showing yourself authentically.
